    Danny Popescu is an entrepreneur, wealth management professional, and philanthropist. He is the founder of Harbourfront Group of Companies, and Chief Executive Officer of Vancouver-based Harbourfront Wealth Management Inc. He is also the founder and Director of Harbourfront Gives Foundation, which has raised over $460,000 in donations for a number of local, national, and global charities.


    Danny Popescu began his finance career at Canada Trust, where he gained valuable experience in lending and investments. Later, during his tenure as Senior Vice President at National Bank Financial from 2011 to 2013, Popescu specialized in tax minimization planning, portfolio construction, income planning, and philanthropic planning.


    Having accumulated significant experience, Danny Popescu felt it was time to start his own firm and founded Harbourfront Wealth Management in 2013. He established an investment firm with a personal investment of $11 million and six employees. Since that time, the valuation of the firm has grown, with the enterprise value of the firm rising to $425 million in 2022, when Audax Private Equity Group made a nine-figure investment into the firm, recognized as a finalist of ACG BC’s Deal of the Year.
